My name is Chris Axelrad. I specialize in women's health issues using a natural, holistic approach. I am an Acupuncturist and Herbalist licensed by the Texas Medical Board. I am also certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and Chinese Bodywork. Additionally, I am a fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine, a specialty board dedicated to integrative care for women and couples experiencing reproductive issues. I have done extensive studies not only in Traditional Chinese Medicine, but also Western endocrinology (the study of hormones), nutrition, mind-body disciplines, and interpretation of lab results. My father and brother are both Urologists (MDs), and I take pride in being from a family steeped in medical tradition.

My clinic is a tranquil, peaceful environment where you will feel comfortable. I take very seriously my commitment to each of my patients, and this will be no different for you.
